We are celebrating what God is doing through our strategic partnership with YouVersion (The Bible App)! They recently featured my teaching on the YouVersion home page through their “Guided Scripture of the Day,” empowering Mobilize Ministries™ to minister to millions globally. It is a blessing to hear that our message of “mobilizing missional living” is resonating, and you can view our teaching videos and devotionals here.
Entering 2026, we are specifically praying for 26 new monthly partners to join the mission and for 26 speaking ministry events to be scheduled this year. If you would like to book or inquire about hosting a speaking event, please visit our booking page here or email me at todd@mobilizeministries.com. I also invite you to partner with us here as your tax-deductible gift helps us reach even more hearts through the power of the Gospel.
This global impact starts with our own daily devotion; here are three reasons why the Word of God is the essential fuel your missional life needs:
1. Renewing Your Mind for the Mission
Daily immersion in the Scriptures is the only way to ensure we are not “conformed to the pattern of this world” but are instead “transformed by the renewing of our mind” (Romans 12:2) to see people as God sees them. When we saturate our hearts in the Word, His truth becomes a “lamp for our feet and a light on our path” (Psalm 119:105), allowing us to navigate the complexities of our daily interactions with a missional clarity that only comes from Him. Without this daily renewal, we risk operating out of our own limited strength rather than the divine perspective required to mobilize others into their own unique callings.
2. Equipping Your Weakness with His Power
Reading the Word daily ensures that we are “thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:17) that God has prepared for us in our neighborhoods and workplaces. Because the Word of God is “alive and active and sharper than any double-edged sword” (Hebrews 4:12), it pierces through our own insecurities and weaknesses, replacing them with a spiritual authority that resonates with those who are searching for hope. When we realize that our own lack is the perfect vessel for His fullness, the daily reading of Scripture becomes the spiritual nourishment that turns our “weak” into the “new strong.”
3. Sustaining Your Spirit for the Long Run
Missional living is a marathon, not a sprint, and we are reminded that “man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). By feeding on the Word daily, we find that those who “hope in the Lord will renew their strength and soar on wings like eagles” (Isaiah 40:31), preventing the burnout that so often plagues those trying to serve in their own power. This consistent rhythm of biblical intake provides the spiritual stamina necessary to remain faithful to the call of mobilizing others until every person has had the chance to hear and believe.
Don’t let your missional fire dim this week. Open the Word, let it fuel your soul, and watch how God uses your daily devotion to change the world around you.
How has daily scripture changed your perspective on the mission field in your own neighborhood lately?
